Jerry Ray Bobbitt

Jerry Ray Bobbitt, age 70, of Weches passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his residence. Jerry was born September 17, 1949 in Crockett to parents, John Roy Bobbitt and Dorothy Lee Pyle Bobbitt. He owned and operated Bobbitt Plumbing for more than 40 years and also was a rancher. Jerry was a member of the Crockett United Pentecostal Church.

Jerry is survived by children, Jeff and Tabitha Bobbitt of Palestine, Sissy and Randy Lively of Crockett, Jeremy and Dylis Ann Bobbitt of Latexo, Ryan Bobbitt of Grapeland; grandchildren, Jordan Bobbitt of Grapeland, Haylei Clark and husband, Jr. of Rusk, Colton & Kursten Lively of Grapeland, Justin and Jason Bobbitt of Latexo, Jax, Jett, & Judd Bobbitt of Latexo; great-grandchildren, Cooper Warren, Camden & Shyanne Clark, Jaxley, Jensen, and Jonsie Bobbitt; brothers, Johnny Bobbitt and wife, Ruth of Weches; Roy Lee Bobbitt and wife, Linda of Weches; sister, Barbara Ann Peterson and husband, Billy Ed of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Dorothy Bobbitt; brother, Charlie Bobbitt.

Funeral services for Jerry Ray Bobbitt will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020 in the Crockett United Pentecostal Church with Brother Nathan Brooks and Brother Roy Lee Bobbitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Weches Cemetery. Family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
