Troy Holloway

A funeral service for Troy Holloway, age 46, of Rusk is scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020, under the direction of Wallace Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk, with the Rev. Jack White officiating.

Mr. Holloway passed away Jan. 13, 2020. He was born on Nov. 21, 1973 in Nacogdoches, to Katie Mae Reyna and the late Tuffy Holloway. Troy was a resident of Rusk most of his life but in recent years resided in Wells. He enjoyed driving diesel trucks with his best friend Robby, playing horseshoes, working outside, and being around family. He was a jack of all trades but most importantly a caring son, loving father and an amazing friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tuffy Holloway; step-mother, Mary Ann Holloway; sisters, Erenestine Holloway, Marilynn Pierce, Betty Holloway; and a brother, Erenest Ray Graham. He is survived by mother and step-father, Katie and Bacilio Reyna; a son and daughter-in-law, Troy Austin and Ellie Holloway; daughters, Summer and Isabell Holloway and their mother Amy Oleinik; step-son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Courtney Oleinik; daughter, Amanda Ebanez; two sisters, Virginia Ybarra, Ronda Tadlock; brother, David Reppond; and lifelong friend, Robby Jones and wife Christy Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Austin Holloway, Robby Jones, David Reppond, Jason Graham, Jessie Holloway, Billy Holloway, Jacob Hailey and Cody Smith. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at the funeral home.
