Want a glimpse of the last 100 years of Cherokee County’s history?

It can be had!

A joint project of the Cherokee County Historical Commission and Creative Graphics in Jacksonville, the 2020 ‘A Glimpse of... The Last 100 Years’ historic calendar is now available.

“There’s a lot of good information in here -- especially for the month of June, that’s about my family,” CCHC member and Cherokee County native Shelley Cleaver said.

Calendars are $7 each and can be found at the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce office, 1714 E. Rusk St., Jacksonville; the Heritage Center of Cherokee County, 208 S. Henderson St., Rusk; and the Cherokee County Historical Commission office, 138 W. Fifth St., Rusk.

Proceeds of calendar sales benefit the Heritage Center of Cherokee County.
