Robert Kirk Stanley

Robert Kirk Stanley was born Sept. 4, 1961, in Houston, Texas, to Don and Johnnie Stanley. He passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Palestine. He was 58 years old.

Kirk was a 1980 graduate of Rusk High School and attended Tyler Junior College. Kirk loved to cook, watch sports, fishing, golfing and family games of 42.

Kirk loved his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin brother, Richard; and stepson, Matthew Minter.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Sondra; son, Chris Helmig and wife, Aliese; daughters, Hailey and husband Travis, Jordan and stepdaughter Heather; brother, Paul; sister, Donna; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kirk was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
