Homeownership workshop scheduled

Divine Real Estate, along with HOPE Inc., will co-host a free homeownership workshop from 6:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12. at 595 S Ragsdale St. in Jacksonville.

The topic for the upcoming workshop will be ‘Buying vs Renting, Knowing Your Options’. Attendees will explore the overall benefits of both as well as the differences in costs and maintenance and ultimately decide whether buying or renting is best for them. They will also gain an understanding of the steps to take to pursue homeownership.
Light refreshments will be served.
A Spanish speaking version of the workshop will also be offered. The Spanish speaking workshop will be held simultaneously at the Hope Center and it will be facilitated by Mike McEwen, owner of Cherokee Real Estate Company.

The goal for these workshops is to inform and empower people.
