Larry Wayne Lusk

Larry Wayne Lusk left this world to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019. He was 64 when he passed away.

He was born on Jan. 21, 1955, in Rusk, Texas, to E. M. ‘Mutt’ and Frances Lusk. He earned an Associate’s degree in optics from Tyler Junior College and worked as an optician and optical salesman up until his death. He raised three sons, Jonathan, Stephen, and Daniel while living in Houston and Bastrop. He was a strong Christian and a man who loved to laugh and share stories with everyone he met.

Larry was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Richard; and his brother, Don. He is survived by his three children; his mother; two nephews; one niece; and several cousins. Those who knew Larry know he hated being fussed over and would rather give than receive. In lieu of funeral services, and to honor his character, we ask that all who wish to participate make a donation to any children’s organization in his name.
