Walmart Hiring 50 Associates for the Palestine Distribution Center, Starting Pay at $16.40 an Hour

Palestine, TX – September 26, 2019 – Walmart is hiring 50 associates, including loaders, unloaders and order fillers, to support its Palestine Regional distribution center. The company is looking to fill the positions to support its growing business, after reporting in August its 20th straight quarter of U.S. same-store sales growth and a 37 percent gain in U.S. e-commerce sales.

Across the country, the company is planning to hire thousands of new Walmart Supply Chain associates, including the 50 at the Palestine distribution center. Applicants have the opportunity to be hired on-the-spot with conditional job offers.

The Regional distribution center serves 143 Walmart stores throughout the region. Wages for full-time hourly associates start at $16.40 per hour and can reach more than $18.25 an hour based on work area, shift and schedule. All positions are considered full time- qualifying for benefits, including medical, vision and dental insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, a quarterly incentive program and access to a college degree for $1 a day.
