Herman “Freddy” Patrick

A service of remembrance for Herman “Freddy” Patrick, 75, of Rusk, will be 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, at the Church on the Rock, 800 E. Ninth St., Rusk, with Brothers Paul Gates and Greg Gunter officiating.

Mr. Patrick passed away surrounded by his family members on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019. He was born in Rusk, Texas, on June 23, 1944, to the late Altha and Sylvester Patrick. He served proudly in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of the Church on the Rock in Rusk. He enjoyed spending time fishing and he loved running concession stands at area festivals.
He is predeceased by his parents; brother, Ellis Wade “Buddy” Patrick; and sister, Linda Iola (Patrick) Dubois.

He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Anna M. Patrick of Rusk; son, James Landers of Rusk; grandson, Colby Landers of Wells; brother, Johnny Patrick of Rusk; sisters, Juanita (Patrick) Germany of Rusk, Mildred (Patrick) Grimes of Gallatin and Wanda Patrick of Rusk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
