Funeral services for Benjamin Henry House, 67, of Henderson, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Welch officating. Burial will follow at Atoy Cemetery.

Mr. House passed away after a lengthy illness on Sept. 3, 2019. He was born Dec. 17, 1951, in St. Albans, N.Y. He attended Burges High School in El Paso, Texas. From there he served in the United States Army and then graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. He was a member of Still Waters Cowboy Church, Carthage, Texas. He was a member of the Lake Country RV Travelers. He also loved to cook in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Helm-House of Henderson; daughter, Paula Bottoms of Paoli, Ind.; Heidi House; step-children, Amy Blackwell and her husband Will of Mt. Enterprise, Cody Helm and his wife Mandy of Jacksonville, Lori Griffith of Carmel, Ind., JoElla Land of West Baden Spring, Ind., Tracy Griffith of Salem, Ind.; grandchildren, Hayden Helm, Harley Helm, Hannah Blackwell, Tathan Frazer, Molly Frazer, Emma Blackwell; mother, Walice House; brothers, Tecumseh House and his wife Jodi, and Richard House; sister, Debrah Feil and her husband Scott; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time, Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at the funeral home.
