Burley Wayne Castle

Funeral services for Burley Wayne Castle, 54, of Alto will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, at New Hope Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 9, from 6-8 p.m. at O.T. Allen Funeral Home in Alto. Mr. Castle died Friday, Aug. 2, in Alto. He was born Jan. 2, 1965, in Alto, to Charles Roscoe and Ruth Hudson Castle. He lived in Alto and also Hubbard, Texas.

He attended Hopewell Baptist Church in Dawson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother; brother, Thomas Jackson; and sister, Ruthann Renee Reggie. He is survived by his wife, Doris Lang of Hubbard; sons, Tyson Mitchell of Waco and Finis Brown of San Diego, Calif.; daughters, Elisia Phillips of Mexia, Tawonia Mitchell of Alto, Tashekia Mitchell (Jerry) of Alto and Aaliyah Brown of Hubbard; brothers, Curtis Jackson of Alto and Mark Hudson of Wichita Falls; sister, Sandra Brantley of Troup; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
