Billy Gene "Bad Company" Yarbrough

Services for Billy Gene Yarbrough "Bad Company" will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Graveside services will follow at McDonald Cemetery in New Summerfield with Brother Gates officiating. The family will be available for visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 15, at the funeral home.

Billy Gene Yarbrough 67, was born to Charles and Louise Yarbrough on July 24, 1951, in Rusk where he lived most of his life. He passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, after a battle with a lengthy illness. He was a member of First Apostolic Church of Dialville. He was a Bull Hauler (ain’t no feeling like cow mobilin’) until he retired and was currently a heavy equipment operator. He served two years in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He received multiple honorable metals during his service in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Yarbrough; father, Charles Edward Yarbrough Sr.; sister, Joe Carroll Towler; and several cousins.

He is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Thyra Yarbrough; brother, Dennis Ray Yarbrough; sister, Sherry Carroll; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Stacie Massey; daughters, Courtnee Annette Yarbrough, Misty and Jarod Cain, Christy Michelle Yarbrough and Michael Moreno; and sons, Billy Jack Yarbrough and fiancé Shelby, and Philip and Sarah Gray. He was a proud grandpa to 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, several beloved nieces and nephews and a multitude of beloved friends he considered family.

Pallbearers will be Billy Jack Yarbrough, Scott Lee Massey, Dakota Grimes, Jarod Cain, James Cook, Bill Sword, JK Holman and Mike Bivens.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Lusk, Bobby Whitehead, Monte Taylor, Richard Guajardo, Gary Lynn Cox Jr., Taylor Durrett, Scottie Lee Massey and Jesse Traylor.

He will be greatly missed.
