Grant Freeman’s magic show returns to CCT

by Josie Fox

This ain’t your grandfather’s magic show!

Prepare yourself for tricks, antics, stunts, wisecracks and buffoonery as Grant Freeman once again takes the stage at the historic Cherokee Civic Theatre Friday, June 28.

“We are very excited to have Grant Freeman perform again,” said board president Josie Fox. “We are hoping for another sell-out crowd.”

This R-rated magic show is part of the theatre’s Sip & See event, and refreshments are included with ticket admission.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Due to the nature of the material, this show is not recommended for children.

Freeman is a comedic magician who brings a unique, side-splitting and mind-blowing performance to his audiences, making him one of the most compelling entertainers of his generation.

His previous performance at the Cherokee Civic Theatre sold out and received rave reviews from those in attendance.

“We saw him during his last show. He is hilarious. You are really missing something if you miss this,” CCT Board member and veteran thespian Jerry Parker said.

Tickets are available for $20 in advance and can be purchased online at www.cherokeecivictheatre.net or at the box office Wednesday, June 26 to Friday, June 28 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets at the door will be $25. Seating to this event is limited.
