Tomato Fest tennis tournament results

Two Jacksonville girls finished first and second in the Tomato Fest tennis tournament Saturday, June 8, in the ages 14 and under division. Alena Trawick won first place and Sarah McCullough took second place.
Thirty-four players from East Texas played in the annual Jacksonville Tomato Fest Tennis Tournament on Saturday, June 8, in Jacksonville.
Jacksonville had 13 boys and girls play in the event’s junior tournament divisions, and four locals won medals playing on their home courts.
The junior players earned points in the East Texas USPTA Gran Prix circuit to qualify them for the state championships in September.
