Raymond E. Musick

Funeral services for Raymond E. Musick, 75 of Rusk, will be 2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2019, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, with Bro. Elton Musick officiating. Burial will follow at Holleyman Chapel Cemetery, Maydelle, Texas.

Mr. Musick passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019. He was born Nov. 15, 1943, in Huntsville, Texas, to the late Frank and Ruth Musick. He spent much time woodworking, operating heavy equipment, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Musick; sister, Frankie Musick; half-brother, Truitt Peevy; and half-sister, Ava Maude Musick. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bobbie Musick of Maydelle; daughter and her husband, Malisa and Barry Stevens of Maydelle; son and his wife, Justin and Jenny Musick of Garrison; grandchildren, Dakota, CeAnna, John, and Markcus Stevens, Amy Lynn Musick and Charley Musick; brothers, Leland Musick of Lufkin, Elton and Gloria Musick of Lufkin, Arnold and Mary Musick of Lufkin, Donny and Joyce Musick of Huntington; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time, Sunday, May 26, 2019, at the funeral home.
