Robert E. “Bob” Boyd Jr.

Memorial services for Robert E. “Bob” Boyd Jr., 65, of Alto will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2019, at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home in Alto.

Mr. Boyd passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019, in Alto. Bob was born August 15, 1953 in Lufkin, Texas to Robert E. Boyd Sr. and Dorothy Polk Boyd. Bob had lived in Alto for many years and had also lived in Warren. He graduated from high School in Beaumont and was a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the Navy flagship The Little Rock. He had worked as a boilermaker for Kirby Lumber Company in Silsbee and also a company in Nevada. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Terry, Roy and Charles “Tab” Boyd. Bob is survived by his sister, Lynn Arnold of Village Mills; as well as nephew, Paul Arnold and nieces, Shanna Bonnette and Shianne Boyd.
