Carolyn Joyce Stafford Caplinger

Carolyn Joyce Stafford Caplinger, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 23.

Private services were held Saturday, April 27, at Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Ponta.

Carolyn graduated from Angelina College and was a Registered Nurse. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Annette Stafford; and brother, Earl Stafford. She is survived by her husband, Scott Caplinger of Tyler; her aunt, Ginger Gray, of Lake Palestine; youngest brother, David Stafford of Rusk; son, John Stafford of Tyler; daughters, Carrie Stafford of Lindale and Courtney Stafford of Tyler; nieces and nephews, Kelly and husband, Tony and Clint Stafford, all of Whitehouse and Byron Stafford and Jerry Stafford, both of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Alex Kerby of Dallas, Cailey Stafford and Tristan Motes, both of Tyler, Dalton Volkman and Charity Volkman, both of Whitehouse; and numerous cousins and friends.
