Horace Brown and they enjoyed dancing together, traveling and then retirement. Marie or ‘Me-maw’ was a gifted artist staying busy with canvas oil painting, stained glass art and anything else she set her mind to do. She is a three time cancer survivor. She enjoyed retirement with “Hank” until his passing in 2012. She has been a long time resident of Oak Manor. She is survived by her stepson, Mike; stepdaughter, Debra with husband Jack (“Jackson” as she called him); four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, who all reside out of state.
