BREAKING NEWS: Law looking for Mt. Selman man
Cherokee County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information on the whereabouts of Mt. Selman resident Bryan Heath Cannon, 33, of Mt. Selman. Call 903-586-STOP with tips. All callers remain anonymous.
According to reports from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Cannon is wanted for aggravated kidnapping - family violence, from an incident that occurred in Mt. Selman earlier today, Tuesday, April 2.
"It is believed that Cannon Fled from his residence in the Mt. Selman area shortly before law enforcement arrived," a statement from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office stated.
Cannon is believed to be armed and dangerous. Law enforcement officials advise residents in the area to lock their homes and vehicles and call 911 if they see anything suspicious or out of place in or around their homes. DO NOT APPROACH CANNON.
Texas Department of Criminal Justice officials with tracking canines and officers from the U.S. Marsha’s Office aided the sheriff’s deputies in a search for Cannon today police reports said, before being called off after about two hours.
