Cindy Barfield

A graveside service for Cindy Barfield, 57, of Rusk, is scheduled at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Oakland Cemetery in the Oakland community. Jack O’Gorman will officiate. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Barfield passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, at her home in Rusk.

Cindy was born November 24, 1961, in Miami, Fla., to Edward and Shirley (Clark) Marcum.

Mrs. Barfield was a homemaker and had a love for flowers, butterflies, and the color blue.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Thera Baxter; brothers, Chester Marcum and Michael Marcum; and stepson, Jimmy Barfield.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of more than 40 years, Billy Barfield of Rusk; sons, LeRoy Barfield and partner Jackie O’Gorman, Billy Barfield, Jr. and fiancé Ashley McLemore, all of Rusk; daughter, Cindy Barfield of Rusk; stepchildren, Barbara Lowry of Mesquite, Debbie Williams and Tommy Barfield, both of Sherman, and Mark Barfield of WA; sisters, Casey White, Lynn Stevens, and Mamie Marcum, all of CA; brother, Wade Marcum of CA; grandchildren, including Mercedes, Brandon, Madison, Brooklynn, Ashleigh, Haley, and Taylor, and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
