Delores Ray Copeland

Delores Ray Copeland, age 88, of Crockett, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019, in Houston County Nursing Home. She was born June 28, 1930, in Cherokee County to parents, Bryant Ray and Lela English Ray. Delores was a homemaker who was devoted to her family, always quietly supporting them in all their endeavors. She enjoyed her time at home, working in her yard, growing beautiful flowers and vegetable gardening.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Paula Loftin and husband, Rick of Crystal Beach, Cathryn Copeland and boyfriend, Harvey Gates of Crockett; grandsons, Jason Lee Loftin and wife, Christina of Kerrville, Justin Lloyd Lovell and wife, Holly of Weches; great-grandchildren, Corbyn Tatum Loftin of Kerrville, Claire Gresham of Weches, Camille Gresham of Weches, Clayton Gresham of Weches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hill Copeland.

Graveside services will be held for Delores Ray Copeland 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Rusk with Brad Turlington and Justin Lovell, officiating. Eulogy given by Jason Loftin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Michelle Holsey Foundation, P.O. Box 652, Crockett, TX 75835.
