Bobby L. Allen

A graveside service for Bobby L. Allen, age 85, of Rusk is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Bill Garner officiating.

Mr. Allen passed away March 18, 2019 in Rusk. He was born November 11, 1933 in Jacksonville, TX to the late Odis M. and Louise Scott Allen. Mr. Allen was retired from TDCJ and was a member of the Covenant Church in Rusk.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Dicey Louise Allen, wife, Reba Allen, mother of his children, Irene Allen and son-in-law, Charles Wilkes. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Betty Allen of Rusk, daughter, Debbie Wilkes of Rusk, grandchildren, Deana Rasberry and husband Richard, Crystal Lofton and husband Cobey, Kayla Branton and husband Matthew, Shad Bowman, Tina Keany and husband Lagrant, Diane Mitchell and husband Jeremy, Chip Wilkes and wife Randall and twenty great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Shad Bowman, Matthew Branton, Cobey Lofton, Zane Lofton, Richard Rasberry, Eli Branton and Coy Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will include Kody Rasberry, Kasey Rasberry, Jaydin Lofton, Jeremiah Branton and Brandon Branton. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the funeral home.
