Zelma M. Quinn

Graveside services for Zelma M. Quinn, 92, of Rusk will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2019 at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, with Bro. David Haines officiating.

Mrs. Quinn passed away March 13, 2019. She was born December 20, 1926 in Rabb, Texas to the late Howard and Georgia Deaver. She graduated high school in 1943. She worked as a secretary until she met her late husband William F. “Bill” Quinn. She was a lifelong homemaker who loved her family and her Lord. One of her greatest joys was her grandchildren. She made the best pies in town and enjoyed cooking for her family and others. She and Bill both enjoyed getting together with friends playing 42.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson William “Bill” Loel Morrow.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Quinn Morrow of Rusk, Neweta Carroll of Childress, God-daughter, Vicki Stubblefield of Austin, grandchildren, Dawn Pozak of Niagara Falls, NY, Jennifer Pritt of Childress, Jeffery Rash of White Deer, Jami Rash of Austin, great-grandchildren, Madyson Pritt of Childress, Mackenzie Pritt of Childress, Emma Pozak, Niagara Falls, Tommy Pozak of Niagara Falls, Joseph Rash of White Deer, and brother-in-law, Eddie Hoskins of Baytown as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
