Registration opens for youth baseball, softball
It’s nearly time to swing for the fences and many area youth associations have begun registration for baseball and softball teams.
Online registration for Jacksonville Baseball Softball Association is available now at www.jbsa.info.
Cost is $75 per person for ages 5-14. Cost is $50 per person for pre T-ball ages 3-4. JBSA draft day will take place Saturday, Feb. 23, and opening day is set for Saturday, April 13. Follow www.jbsa.iinfo or the Facebook page Jacksonville Baseball Softball Association for updates.
The Rusk Youth Sports Association will host in person registration at the Rusk Junior High gym 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, and Saturday, Feb. 16.
Online registration is also available on the website, https://rysa.sportngin.com/register/form/505319207, through Saturday, Feb. 16. Pre T-ball is $40 per person, with T-ball and up costing $85 per person.
Forms for the Alto Youth Baseball/Softball Association should have been received from school.
Those who did not receive a form may obtain one at Leo Hicks Creosoting. Once completed, forms may be returned to school or Leo Hicks Creosoting.
A sign-up day will be held at the baseball fields Saturday, March 2, and will be the last opportunity to sign up.
Registration for the Wells Athletic Association baseball and softball teams is currently underway online at http://wellsathletics.com.
Registration for Bullard Baseball/Softball Association is currently open online at www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=bullard.
Late registration is set for Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Bullard Middle School cafeteria and a late fee will be assessed.
Draft days are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, for girls and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, for boys.
