Francis Caroline Hallford

A graveside service for Francis Caroline Hallford, age 76, of Rusk is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Brian Givins officiating.

Mrs. Hallford passed away January 3, 2019 in Tyler, TX. She was born July 9, 1942 in Franklin, TX to the late Vernon F. and Delma Cleo Autrey Johnson. Mrs. Hallford was a resident of Rusk most of her life and a member of First Baptist Church in Rusk. She worked for Walmart for nine years as a clerk and also for the Cherokee County Appraisal District. She enjoyed crafts and loved spending time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Noel Franks, brother, Gerald Johnson and son, Kelly Franks. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Leon Hallford of Rusk, son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jackie Franks of Rendon, TX, daughter, Robin Franks of Rusk, daughter-in-law, Brandi Franks of Bullard, TX, sister and brother-in-law, Johnnie and Leon Monk of Sulphur Springs, TX, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Aulie Johnson of Houston, TX and several nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Wilkerson, Aaron Franks, Cameron Franks, Clayton Franks, Austin Franks and Heath Johnson. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the funeral home.
