A graveside service for Larry Jack Bowman, 73, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Rusk. The Rev. Don Copeland and Cole Bowman will officiate. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
He passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, in Tyler, surrounded by his family. Larry was born Sept. 2, 1945, in Rusk to Jewell and Claudia (Moore) Bowman.

Mr. Bowman was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and served in Viet Nam.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, and one sister.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Dax Bowman and wife Lecia of Bullard, Cole Bowman and wife Jocely of Chicago, Ill., and daughter, Jill White and husband Johnny of Alto; sister, Charlotte Dixon and husband John Paul of Alto; grandchildren, Luke Bowman, Kennedy Bowman, Gabe Bowman, Brooklyn Bowman, Hudson Bowman, Gina Clark, Dustin Clark, Stacy Clark and Summer White; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Luke Bowman, Gabe Bowman, Hudson Bowman, Dustin Clark, Allen Bowman, and David Cannon.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, and friends are cordially invited to visit with Larry’s family from 6 to 8 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
