Rosemary Middleton

Funeral services for Rosemary Middleton, 83, of Rusk, will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Sardis Baptist Church, under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Don Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis-Edgefield Cemetery.

Mrs. Middleton passed away December 9, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born September 15, 1935 in Whitewright, Texas to the late Willie and Mable Mauldin Sr. She liked to look nice; she loved to follow fashion and having her hair styled. She was into electronics and could tell you what you needed to know about televisions and radio sets. She was very caring and loved her family. She was a Christian woman and followed Billy Graham. She was also a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lindy Middleton, son, David “Mike” Middleton, brothers, Willie Mauldin Jr., Larry Mauldin, Harry Mauldin, sisters, Baby Ruth Hoover, Dorothy Woolderink, and Helen Mauldin.

She is survived by her brother, Leon Mauldin of Gainesville, sisters, Dollie Boyd of Gainesville, Linda Matthews of Meridian, grandchildren, Jewelle Middleton, Cole Middleton, Micah Middleton, one great-grandson, and great friend, Argie Stewart of Rusk as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 until service time.

Pallbearers will be Dale Cloer, Sid Gonzales, Mike Brooks, Ben Hair, Carl Loden, Gary Vaughan, and Lee Danner.
