Wayne Spears

A graveside service for Wayne Spears, 76, of Tyler, is scheduled at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, and friends are cordially invited to visit with Wayne’s family at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mr. Spears passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, in Tyler. Wayne was born Dec. 1, 1942, in Houston to Coy and Hazel (Lindsey) Spears. Mr. Spears was a Title Officer in the Commercial Title business. He finished his career as a petroleum land man.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 25 years, Debbie Spears of Tyler; and two daughters, Beth Newton and husband Will of Austin and Jennifer Lang of Magnolia. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Emma Ellis, Madelyn Ellis, and Erin Lang.
