Betty Ruth Bowers Laudenslager

Betty Ruth Bowers Laudenslager died peacefully in her home on November 27 in Dallas, at the age of 66.

Betty is survived by her husband, Edward Laudenslager, of Dallas; mother Betty Bass of Dallas; son and wife Greg and Angie Bowers of Rusk; grand children Kristin Little of Florida, Nathan Bowers of Twentynine Palms, Ca, and Darren Alexander of Hondo; two great-granddaughters of Florida; brothers Don Bowers of Baldwin, Ks, John Bowers of Tatum, NM, and Robert Bass of Dallas; sisters Katherine Carter of Haltom City, and Sherry Bowers of Dallas; numerous of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by son Jeremy Laudenslager of Dallas; daughter Megan Laudenslager of Dallas; father Harold Bowers of Chandler; and grandparents.

Betty was born on October 2, 1952 in San Diego, Ca to Harold and Betty Bowers.

Betty worked and retired for Bank of America in Dallas.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Betty lost a long battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by many people.

A memorial will be announced at a later date. The family ask that anyone wishing to please make contribution to the American Cancer Society in Betty’s name.
