The time is nigh to make your voice heard – and get a tasty chicken spaghetti lunch.

The 2018 general election is Tuesday, Nov. 6. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. across Cherokee County. Visit the Cherokee County Elections Dept’s page on the county’s website, co.cherokee.tx.us, to find out where voting locations are in each voting precinct.

The Rusk First United Methodist Church is serving up its annual chicken spaghetti lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Plates are $8 and come with side of green beans, salad, garlic bread and a beverage.

Deliveries (without drinks) are available. Call the church, (903) 683-4675 to place an order.

“We’ve sold out in the two years I’ve been here,” Pastor Bart Reddoch said. “It’s always a good time and everyone does a great job.”

Cherokee County residents can still vote early through Nov. 2. Early voting locations are:

- The Cherokee County Elections Dept., 138 W. Fifth St, Rusk, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 29-Nov. 2.

- The Jacksonville Public Library, 502 S. Jackson St., Jacksonville, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

- The River Church, 595 Marcus St., Alto, from Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
