Immediate Do Not Use Order issued by Craft-Turney Water Supply Corporation Jacksonville, TX-Cherokee County

Due to conditions which have occurred recently in the water system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has instructed Craft-Turney Water Supply to issue a do not use the water order for the area as described below. This includes no human or animal consumption, no bathing, no cooking, no irrigating, etc. until further notice. Water sampling is being conducted and further information will be provided after sampling results are evaluated.

The service area affected includes the south side of Loop 456 on the north boundary, County Roads 1615 and 1616 (including US 69 South) on the west boundary, State Highway 204 on the east boundary, and FM 768 on the south boundary.

Bottled water is available for pick for affected customers at the Craft Turney WSC office, located at 505 SE Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX, starting at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
