Wells FFA member Tyler Smith placed fourth with his Angus heifer Black Beauty (born Nov. 1-Dec. 31, 2017);

Cherokee County 4-H member Rhett Black placed second with his Beefmaster heifer BF Star (born Mar. 1, 2018 and after);

Jacksonville FFA member Jorge Romano placed fourth with his Beefmaster heifer DR’s Garfield (born Nov. 1-Dec. 31, 2017);

Cherokee County 4-H member Eli Middleton placed sixth with his Beefmaster heifer L5 Shady Lady;

STEER

Bullard FFA member Candence Ellis placed fourth in the Charolais steer, weight class 6 division.

Rusk FFA member Michael Sanchez placed second in the Polled Hereford, weight class 2 division.

Troup FFA member Courtney Lynn placed third in the Shorthorn, weight class 1 division.

Troup FFA member Brianna Lynn placed third in the Simmental, weight class 2 division.

SWINE

Troup FFA member Grady Lowry won Grand Champion in the White OPB, weight class 2 division of the Junior Swine show; earned the Junior Showmanship award in the unspecified breed division; and placed first in both the OPB, weight class 3 division and the Cross, weight class 2 division.

Troup FFA member Lindsey Lowry placed first in the Berkshire, weight class 1 and 3 divisions; and second in the Cross, weight class 3 division.

Troup FFA member Jakob Hardy won Grand Champion in the Berkshire, weight class 2 division; second in the Cross, weight class 9 division; and first in the Hampshire, weight class 2 division.

Troup FFA member Jennifer Daily placed second in the Cross, weight class 2 division; and third in the weight class 3 division.
