Carlene Minchew Hamilton Fraim went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sept. 11, 2018. Funerals services were held Saturday, Sept. 15, at Wallace-Thomspon Funeral Home-Rusk, with Bro. Mick Guess officiating.

Visitation was held Saturday, Sept. 15, at the funeral home. Burial followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Carlene was born on Aug. 15, 1953, to the late Carl Minchew and Ella Mae Smith Minchew Little, in Houston. She lived most of her live in Rusk. She retired from Rusk State Hospital after 28 years.

Mrs. Fraim also worked at ACCESS MHMR and retired after a total of 33 years in the mental health field. Mrs. Fraim enjoyed her work with the mentally ill population. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and her occupation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Steve Ray Hamilton; her son, Michael Lee Wilson; her step-father, who raised her, Stanley N. Little; and her daughter, Michelle Marie Wilson Dean.

She is survived by granddaughters, Riki Roberts and Roby Dean of Rusk; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Carol Minchew of Houston, Johnny and Bonita Minchew of Noonday and Robert Minchew of Rusk; and a sister and brother-in-law, James and Melba Leigh of New Caney, as well as a great-grandson, Quintan Roberts. Mrs. Fraim is also survived by her second family, husband, Harry Fraim of Rusk; step-children, Robin Fraim Iglesias and children of Katy, Alison Fraim and daughter of San Angelo, and Keith and Sunshine Fraim and children of Round Rock. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers were Tony Jenkins, Dalton Wynn, Koby Copley, Michael Roberts, Frank Rios and Keith Fraim. Honorary pallbearers were Roy, Johnny and Robert Minchew.
