Landry Lasseter completed a 27-yard field goal in the second quarter and ensured that the home team was the first to score, going into half-time with a score of 7-0.

A third quarter field goal for three points would be the only score the Eagles would see.

The Guard defense showed what they were made of by preventing the Eagles from making it across the plane.

Brook Hill answered back to the Eagles’ field goal with a 58-yard touchdown run in by Kirk Jean-Baptiste, followed by a good point after by Jake Shaffer.

The Guard didn’t stop there, in the fourth quarter Khalin Griffin completed a 38 yard touchdown run with another good PAT by Shaffer.
