Cleo Cox

Funeral services for Cleo Cox, 64, of Tyler and formerly of Rusk were recently held at the West Union Faith Ministry in Rusk with Pastor Jimmy Foreman and Reverands Dale Ward and Archie Hicks officiating.

Services were held under the direction of Willams Funeral Home.

Mr. Cox was born November 24, 1952 in Troup and passed away July 26 in Tyler.

He was a graduate of Troup High School, an Army veteran, member of New Hope Congolee Baptist Church and retired engineer for the Texas State Railroad.

Mr. Cox is survived by three step sons, Clifton Hunt, Bill Hunt and Royce Hunt, all of Rusk; daughters Monice Cox of Houston, and Desiree R. Tony Churchman; step daughter Charlene Hunt of Jacksonville, sisters Jimmie D. Hartsfield of Newton and Virginia Mate Michael Moore; four grandchildren and 17 step grandchildren.
