Roy Reynolds

Celebration of Life Services for Roy Chad Urbinas Reynolds, 78, of Rusk, will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Rusk with Bro. Lee Welch and Bro. Jim Goforth officiating.

Mr. Reynolds passed away July 27, 2018. He was born March 15, 1940 in Plattsburgh, New York to the late Antonio and Carmen Urbinas. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps. His life was intertwined with music, and was involved in the music at the First Baptist Church. He played the piano, he spent time in New York as a disc jockey and just loved music. His true joy was time spent with his wife Penny. In 1980, he opened Roy Reynolds Advertising Agency in Rusk and Ft. Worth. He was Rotary President and helped at the Chamber of Commerce and the Cherokee Theater. He was also known as being the biggest President Trump fan in all of Rusk. He loved his church and the town of Rusk.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Reynolds of Rusk, children, Tony Urbinas of Albany, NY, Tammy Urbinas Farrell of Gatesville, TX, grandchildren, Brittany Urbinas, Brandon D’Souza, Jordain Farrell, Paige Farrell, and Roy was looking forward to the birth of his first great-grandson.
