***UPDATE**** Female found dead in Bullard

Approximately 8:30 a.m. Bullard Police received a call reporting a body had been found on Brentwood Drive with officials confirming the body found was dead at 12:15 p.m. One person was detained at the scene; however, it is unclear at this time if anyone will be charged in connection with the incident. at this time. Details are very limited at this time, but Bullard Police Department has officers on the scene with an investigation ongoing. Updates will be provided as they are received.

A local Tyler ABC television affiliate has reporters on the scene.

***UPDATE***

An additional arrest has been made resulting in two people arrested in the case of a female found dead in Bullard the morning of July 5. Three additional people have been detained and the case is being investigated as a homicide.

Officials could not provide an estimate on how long the body had been at the location.
