Rusk, Bullard, J’ville slated to host little league tournaments

Both Rusk and Jacksonville are slated to host little league state playoff tournaments during the month of July.

The Girls 15U division of the Texas Teenage Baseball-Softball (Texas Teenage) League state playoffs will take place in Rusk, with some games also played in Bullard, beginning July 9.

Teams earning a spot in state playoff competition include Rusk Threat, Rusk Velocity, Alba Uproar, Axtell Lady Horns, Belton Aggies, Bruceville-Eddy Warriors, Clifton Lady Cubs, Comanche Pride, Corsicana Lady Texas Rangers, Crockett Crossfire, Edgewood Thunder Chickens, Lovelady Lion Drive, Moody United, Quitman Killer Kleatz, Mildred and Troup Thunder.

Rusk games will be held at the Rusk Baseball/Softball complex located at 1801-1811 Golfcrest Drive.

Jacksonville is scheduled to host the Boys 10U Tight Base state baseball tournament beginning July 16 at the Jacksonville Baseball Complex located at 1923 Byrd Road.

Thirteen teams will be vying for the state championship title including the Jacksonville Bears and Jacksonville Indians.

At the time of this publication, the remaining 11 teams were not listed on the Texas Teenage website.
Texas Teenage covers a large portion of the state and is managed by a board of directors consisting of 12 people located throughout the state of Texas. Board members are elected by Texas Teenage affiliates who attend the annual state meetings.
