Danny Joe Stephens

Danny Joe Stephens, 59, of Rusk passed away Saturday, June 2, in Rusk.

He was born May 6, 1959 in Ferriday, Louisiana to Valton and Joy (Roe) Stephens.

Mr. Stephens served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Church on the Hill in Rusk.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny Stephens; sister, Peggy Stephens; and nephews, Robbie Stephens and Richard Stephens.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Allison Stephens of Rusk; stepsons, Chris West and wife Traci of Chapel Hill and Thomas West of Dallas. He is also survived by a great-niece, Abigale Stephens of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and grandchildren, Dade and Haley Horney, and Rob and Savannah West.

Services will be held at a later date.
