Rodney Constant

Rodney Constant was born Jan. 17, 1949, in Amery, Wis. He worked as a quality assurance supervisor.
He was a former member of Mustangs of East Texas and enjoyed hunting, fishing, classic cars, riding motorcycles and playing the guitar.

Rod passed away at the age of 69, on May 18, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Gangle; father, Dwayne Constant; son, Anthony Constant in 2017; step-daughter, Rachel Wendell; and step-father, Ray Gangle.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Constant of Rusk; children, Jarratt Constant, Mark Constant, Mindy Hilo, Tammy Constant and Tim Constant; siblings, Keith, Mark, Dwayne Jr., Christopher, Kelly, Becky and Ashley; and grandchildren, Sophia and Charlie Hilo, and Timmy, Kayla and Tara Constant. He is also survived by his wife’s family, Francis and Juanita Allen; sisters-in-law, Margarget, Donna, Belinda, Ricki and their spouses; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Rod’s life was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Golden Harvest Church of God in Jacksonville.

A memorial celebration will be held Sunday, June 3, in Wisconsin.
