Opal Diane post

It is with great sadness that the family of Opal Diane Post announces her passing, at home surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 17, 2018.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1953, in Fort Worth to John Ed and Opal Lea Bryant.

Diane is survived by her husband of 37 years, Pat; and their daughters, Crystal (will) and Laura (Tim). Diane will be loving remembered by her five grandchildren, Sarah, Bradley, Emily, Justin and Brett; two great-grandchildren, Aubree and Emoree; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by both of her parents; her brother, Eddie and her only son, Nathan.

She was a housewife, who later in life received her CDL license. She enjoyed viewing the countryside from a big rig with her husband.

Family, friends and others whose lives Diane touched are invited to the memorial from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, May 27, at the Fireman’s Inn, 200 Fireman’s Lane, in Rusk, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
