Betty M. Lusk

Funeral Services for Betty M. Lusk, 84, of Rusk, were held April 29 at Salem Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Don Copeland and Bro. Tommy Mabry officiating. Burial followed in Salem Cemetery.

Mrs. Lusk passed away April 27. She was born March 6, 1934 in Rusk to the late Louis and Bertha Hudson.

She was a florist for years and catered weddings and baked cakes. She also loved to paint, sew, and garden both vegetables and flowers.

Mrs. Lusk was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William “Joe B” Lusk of Rusk, daughters and sons in law, Linda and Johnny Graham of Rusk, Debbie and Johnny Jennings of Rusk, son and daughter in law, Jerry and Laverne Lusk of Rusk, grandchildren, Lori Bayless, Joey Lusk, Rusty Graham, Josh Graham, Megan Bowman, Amber Hood, Joe Bob Jennings, great-grandchildren, Jared Lusk, Jace Lusk, Tanner Hood, Landri Bayless, Abigail Hood, Emma Bayless, Austin Randall, Grant Bayless, Hunter Randall, Dicen Graham, Sidney Hood, Alyssa Bowman, Mason Bowman, Kamdyn Searcy, brother, Charles Hudson of Rusk and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Graham, Josh Graham, Joey Lusk, Tanner Hood, Jace Lusk and Joe Bob Jennings. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Bayless, Tim Bowman, Dustin Hood and Jared Lusk.
