Students from The Cherokee County 4H Photography Club recently participated and placed in the Texas 4H District 5 Photography Competition at Stephen F. Austin State University.

The group submitted up to 15 photos each member in the 15 different categories. Each photo was judged using six criteria.

The Texas 4-H District 5 Photography Judging contest allowed 4-H members to demonstrate skills in the evaluation, selection, and placing of photographs based on industry standards and expectations. The 4-H members that participated in the contest judged six classes of photographs and two classes of problem photos, testing both the participants’ knowledge and skills.
