James "Buddy" Bingham

Funeral services for James “Buddy” Bingham, 78, of Jacksonville, were held on Monday, April 23, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville. Jim Allbright and Jack Rawlinson officiated. Mr. Bingham was laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Maydelle.

Buddy passed away Wednesday, April 18, in Jacksonville.

He was born November 13, 1939 in Maydelle to James Lester and Ruby Pearl Langston Bingham.

Mr. Bingham was the former owner and operator of B&J Used Cars and attended Tabernacle of Praise in Jacksonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Bingham and a sister, Joyce Dover.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, James Donald Bingham of Jacksonville, Steven Doyle Bingham of Oakland, Patricia Bingham of Gatesville, Linda Gail Bingham and Lisa Sheryl Bingham, both of Jacksonville; sisters, Mary Rawlinson of Gallatin, Dorothy Rawlinson of New Summerfield, Sue Allbright of Plano and Kathy Hopkins of Jacksonville; ten granddaughters, four grandsons, and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Eric Sanders, Emitt Sanders, Mitchell Bingham, Buddy Rawlinson, Brad Rawlinson, Scotty Rawlinson, Jim Dover, and Kirby Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Bubba Brooks and Zack Burks.
