New fire chief settles in to job

l Jacksonville Fire Chief Brent Smith has a new title, but he is not new to Jacksonville and the community he serves. With a staff of 28, he is also responsible for running the ambulance service, transporting clients to emergency rooms, transferring non-emergency medical clients, arson investigation and other firerelated tasks.
