A coloring contest at Rusk Dairy Queen to support Children's Miracle Network is underway. For a $1 donation kids could pick one of five coloring pages to choose from and be entered into the Dairy Queen's coloring contest. The winner from the last CMN contest was Lauren Anderson. She was presented with a $25 cash award and a free kids meal along with a free mini blizzard. There were more than 60 entries. Currently, there is another coloring contest for a chance to win another prize for youngsters up to age 12. The current contest is No Kid Hungry campaign to help raise money for the local area. By donating $1 or more a youth can receive a free small ice cream cone and enter the coloring contest that will end Oct. 1.
