Eagles win 1st match-up with Devils; fall to Riders

l Rusk's Michael Katon pulls down a rebound as Damario Richards (#4) fights for position during Friday night's game at Center. Katon had eight points and 11 rebounds on the night, but the Roughriders held Rusk scoreless in the second quarter on their way to a 42-34 victory. Rusk fell to 18-6 (1-2 in District 18-3A). The Eagles took on Jasper Tuesday night and will travel to Carthage Friday night to take on the Bulldogs.
