Early Friday morning, a shop sitting next to the home of Frank and Kimberly Parks caught on fire. The homeowners were alerted to the fire when oxygen and acetylene bottles exploded. The fire started around 7:30 a.m. on Friday and several local fire stations responded to help extinguish the blaze. Rusk Fire Department, Maydelle Fire Department and Gallatin Fire Department all battled the blaze until Friday afternoon.
