Tejas Forever: Mission Tejas Folk Festival set for Saturday

Demonstrations on pioneer life in the Republic of Texas including weapons, blacksmithing, weaving, soap and basket making, cloth dying and much more will be offered to visitors at the annual Folk Festival which will be held Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Mission Tejas State Park located 12 miles west of Alto on State Highway 21.
