Cherokee County Court-at-Law Judge Janice Stone cuts the ribbon during the county’s ceremony at Cherokee County Child Abuse proclamation day Tuesday afternoon. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and this year’s theme is “It’s your turn to make a difference in a child’s life.” County Judge Chris Davis (not pictured) read the proclamation and the children of Christ the Redeemer pre-school sang during the event.
