Rusk students participate in tour

k With the addition of a third instructor the Rusk Agriculture Department has added several new classes, including an agricultural power systems course. Six Rusk FFA members attended a workshop Sept. 4 at the John Deere Training Center and Parts Depot in Dallas. The group included Frank Ford, Jonathan Short, Taylor Clark, Gage Parker, Zach Morgan and Jace Lusk. They attended workshops in tractor electrical, hydraulics and computer diagnosis; and toured a parts depot. They were given the opportunity to inspection some of John Deere's new tractors. The day-long workshop also included several presentations from Navarro College professors and staff at the John Deere technician training facility.
